    What is Great American Campout?

    Great American Campout is an annual event started by the National Wildlife Federation to support the continued benefits of outdoor recreation! To learn more about this amazing event, please go to: https://www.nwf.org/Great-American-Campout

    Do I have to camp?

    While we would love for your family to stay overnight, it is not required. You are welcome to stay through the movie. We just ask that you exit immediately after out of respect for our camping families so they can get some shut eye.

    What should I bring?

    Please bring a tent, blankets or sleeping bags and pillows in addition to your clothing and toiletries.

    How cold will it be at night?

    What’s for dinner?

    FREE Hot Dogs, Chips and a drink

    Will there be bathrooms?

    Yes in addition to the bathrooms on campus, porta poties and wash stations will be on site as well.

    What activities will there be for my children?

    We have so many activities planned for Campout. Everything from a Slip N Dip water slide and Lawn games to a Glow Party, petting zoo, gardening and Scouting activities by our local Boy Scout Pack. So many choices for all age groups!     When can I come set up my tent?

    Check in and Tent set up will open at 10am to give our campers time to set up before the festivities begin at 2pm!
     

    How can I volunteer?

    With such a large community event, volunteers are always welcome! To register as a volunteer, please contact our chamber office at 925-634-3344.
     

    How do I become a sponsor? 

    If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact the Brentwood Chamber office at (925) 634-3344.
     

    Where should I park? 

    Parking is located along the streets as well as in the school parking areas. Please follow all parking laws and be respectful of the neighboring homes.
     

    Are we required to stay the whole time?

    No you are not required to stay the entire time. If you are not camping, please plan to leaving immediately following the movie so our campers can get some sleep.
     

    Are pets allowed?

    Unfortunately we can not accommodate pets with the exception of a service animal.
