Brentwood Chamber of Commerce - 2022 Citizen of the Year nomination

The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce has annually honored an individual for his or her contribution in making Brentwood a better place to live and work. Unfortunately, we are not always aware of those individuals or what they have achieved. Therefore, we are asking for your help. If you know someone who should be honored, please fill out the enclosed nomination form and return it to us no later than by, July 9, 2022. This year’s winner will be publicized and invited to Celebrating Brentwood where he or she will be publicly recognized and honored for his or her contribution to our community. The recipient will also have opportunities to be recognized at events throughout the year. We ask that you submit your nominations as soon as possible. Keep in mind that, for the nominee to be eligible, his or her contribution must be primarily from their personal involvement not from their employment or political involvement. The Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, through its “Citizen of the Year” award, honors an individual for his or her contributions in developing the social and economic well-being of our city. The criteria to be used by the selection committee are as follows: 1. The nominee does not have to be a member of the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce. 2. The nominee must have been involved in service to the community for a period of 3 years or more. 3. A nominee’s business or political success will not be the primary consideration. 4. The award shall be made to a resident or residents of the greater Brentwood area. 5. The nomination should list a minimum of three achievements by the nominee that have resulted in recognizable benefits to our community. 6. Years the nominee has been a resident of Brentwood - Estimate 7. Nominations must be submitted electronically by the nominating person or organization, include information to support the nomination and include the nominator’s address and phone number.
